Kevin McCutcheon, a native of Wisconsin, is retired Marine Colonel, spending 32 years in the Marine aviation and ground communities. He served in a number of key command and staff assignments in the US (3 tours at Cherry Point, NC), 2 tours in Japan (MAGs 12 & 36), Germany (EUCOM J-3 Plans) and Italy (NDC). Upon retirement he joined Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH), serving as the European Account Director (Stuttgart, DEU), consulting on Ballistic Missile Defense, Information-Intelligence Operations and Strategic Planning and Communications. He retired from BAH in 2012, and chose Granite Falls, NC as his new home. He currently serves as North Carolina’s Regional Vice President to the American Wine Society.
Mr. McCutcheon has numerous affiliations including Marine Corps Aviation Association, the Heritage Foundation, Marine Corps League, Hickory Aviation Museum to name a few. He is married to the former Christine Kuehlman of Wausau, WI. They have two children: Brian (41) and Erin (36); and granddaughters, Elyn (6), and Ada (4). He has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Illinois University, a Master of Science from the Marine Corps University, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Averett College.
